Metallic Disc Filters / Conical Disc Filters

Metallic disc filters and conical disc filters are precision-engineered filtration elements made from sintered metal powder, woven wire mesh, or multilayer stainless steel constructions. Designed for robust and high-efficiency separation, they provide excellent mechanical strength, chemical resistance, and thermal stability. Conical shapes offer larger filtration areas and flow rates, while flat discs are ideal for compact systems.

Operation

Fluid or gas passes through the porous metallic disc structure, where contaminants are retained. Depending on the design, discs can be used individually or stacked in housings to achieve higher efficiency. They can be cleaned and reused through ultrasonic cleaning, chemical washing, or backflushing.
